Pronounced Poke-Chop typically with a high vocal inflection on the "poke" ... yes, sometimes it is actually food that we consume at the table but in most cases... especially at the Juice's game... it means that your flopped-nut hand, you remember, right? When you pushed all your chips into the middle just got derailed by Elvie who was drawing to the fourth nut low and went runner/runner 5-high flush to scoop the pot and take all your chippies.
